Birthday Wishes - February 27th

Happy Birthday to author Lisa McMann!
Never heard of her? Then you must live under a rock or a hidden cave!
She's the writer of this book : Cryer's Cross. You should really check that book out or at least read a section of it. I haven't read the whole book, but from what I have read, it's great. Lisa has a unique writing style. She is also the author of the Wake trilogy. One of the best series I have ever read.♥
Here's a giveaway that you can check out. They don't just give out this book, but many others! Link - http://365daysofreading.com/

Roots In Myth: The Vespertine {ARC Giveaway}

Looking for upcoming new releases, I saw this book and I automatically fell in love. The cover is beautiful. I know, you're not supposed to judge a book by it's cover, but oh well. I read a little bit about it, and it sounds really intresting! The author, Saundra Mitchell, writes great books, including Shadowed Summer, so I know I won't be unimpressed.

Haiku -- For Contest.

I made this haiku for the Fury of the Phoenix Contest. I'm not a good haiku writer, but I gave it a try. I read a synopsis of the Fury in the Phoenix by Cindy Pon and I'm really intrested. Even if I don't win the contest, I will be going out to get that book.=]
Here's my haiku:

Stopping in her tracks
Surprise covered her fury
As snowflakes drifted

Meaning: The girl hates snow. Haha, a short and simple explantion for my 5-7-5 haiku.

Merry Sisters of Fate -- Contest

For the contest, we are to tell the world what our favorite story of theirs is. A very hard choice, by the way.
But most definitely, I could never get enough of::

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater

One of the best books I have ever picked up. I love Maggie's writing style. She is my inspiration. I could never get tired of reading her books.

The prize for writing this is being entered into a hat and having a chance of winning Blood Magic by Tessa Gratton. The cover of the book is beautiful. I know, don't judgge a book by their cover, but I have a feeling it's going to be one of my favorite books.♥
